The book presents the life and achievements of Louis Wolowski (1810-1876), a descendant of Polish Jewish (frankist) family, a Polish insurgent of 1830-1831 and a French liberal economist, banker (creator of the Crédit Foncier) and republican politician between 1831 and 1876.

In der Dissertation wird der Versuch einer weitergehenden Systematisierung des Bereichs strafbaren Arbeitnehmerverhaltens in strafrechtlicher und kündigungsrechtlicher Hinsicht, und zwar durch eine Gegenüberstellung von Strafrecht und Arbeits- bzw. Kündigungsrecht, unternommen.

Die Arbeit untersucht anhand einschlägiger Rechtsprechung den Anwendungsbereich der Regelungen in Großbritannien zum Betriebsübergang (TUPE Regulations).

Durch eine Analyse der politikphilosophischen Geschichte der negativen Freiheit wäre es möglich, den engen subjektiven Interessenbegriff der personalen Rechtsgutslehre zu überwinden und ein umfassenderes Konzept des Rechtsguts zu entwerfen, das letztlich dazu beitragen kann, die Bestrafung von Hassreden wie § 130 Abs.1 Nr. 2 StGB zu legitimieren.

The book addresses the theme of the advent of a ‘Matrix Land’ as a pervasive environment of digital (virtual) reality in which humanity is destined to live increasingly distant from its original natural condition. The challenge posed by the Matrix Land is that of a future society in which lifeworlds and social relations lose the classic notions of time and space.

The book focuses on the reception of Witold Gombrowicz’śs literary works in Argentina from 1970 to 2022. It delves into the Spanish translations of his writings, the Argentinian critique of Gombrowicz’s literary output and legend, and the interpretations offered by leading contemporary Argentinian writers.

Rural sociology plays a crucial role because of the challenges faced in diverse rural contexts. Each rural area has its own characteristics, and small-scale farmers deploy tailor-made strategies to cope with these challenges. This book is dedicated to exploring these strategies in depth.

This collection brings together scholarly work on the interconnectedness of human and nonhuman labor, the differences and similarities of non/human oppression, the possibilities of alliances and coalition-building for total liberation, and the challenges and opportunities of incorporating a critical class perspective into animal liberation work.
