Beyond Education ETI is a Child Safe Organisation At ETI our students wellbeing and safety is our most important concern. You know you get quality education but did you also know ETI is a “Child Safe Organisation” and Department of Education approved? This means our educators are government certified by the Education Department, have police clearances and are skilled to protect your children. To understand more please visit Families SA and Education Department websites or speak to Pete Barter.

AT ETI WE GO BEYOND MUSIC EDUCATION TO OFFER UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP YOU CREATE YOUR DREAM! Karaoke for Kenya Support a good cause ETI’s Rohan Watts asked and of course ETI responded with a big - you bet!!! And we supported in ETI style with members from the GangStars and their Educator Meagan providing the crowd with top quality entertainment. And speaking of top quality entertainment (or something resembling it), Pete Barter almost stole the show with a fab version of “Achy Breaky Heart”. Almost... for a singer he’s an amazing drummer :) A good turn out, great karaoke and money raised for an orphanage in need in Kenya. Thanks to everyone who came out in support and to Selina Estate Wines for their generous donation on the night! On the Radio ETI’s Rohan and Pete provided information about ‘what’s next’ for ETI and ETI student’s music was played. Thanks to PBAFM for supporting ETI and local young talent.

Jazzy has been with ETI for a couple years now but when you see how talented she is you’d swear she’d been having singing lesson’s with ETI_Educator Meagan since birth. Jazzy is a member of the GangStars, a weekly group of singers that get together for fun, learning and singing. The GangStars put on amazing performances with Jazzy centre stage at many events. Jazzy’s amazing development and ambition is evident. She always gives her best at performances and in lessons puts everything in to her practice. She knows that you get out of education what you put into it. Jazzy’s family are wonderful supporters and proud mum Rebecca is at every performance cheering on her wonderful young singer. “Every time I hear Jazzy sing she just gets better and better, fabulous superstar in the making.” Michelle Holland, ETI_Director

ET I_ED UCATOR PROFI L E, T I F F P YC R O F T Brand new to ETI, Tiff comes from a wonderful singing and performing background. Starting in music at a very early age she joined her school band, as a drummer (Just like her dad). Although she was proficient at drumming, Tiffany’s teacher discovered her passion for singing and told her to consider changing instruments. She changed to vocals, and hasn’t looked back. In bands all of her life, she has excelled in an “ABBA” tribute band, but found her true calling when she joined “Fizzy Pop”. Fizzy Pop was a sough after band and went from strength to strength with sell out shows and culminated in them performing at Carols By Candlelight to 40,000 people. Wow, we are privileged to that Tiff has decided to return to music after having her daughter Evie to share her love of music (and talent) with ETI students. Tiff teaches at ETI_East. “I’m thrilled that Tiff has chosen to be part of the ETI family. Her singing and engagement abilities are a perfect for ETI.” Pete Barter, CEO/Founder

Gawler Show Performance!!! Every time I get to see these wonderful musicians perform I swell with pride. Seeing them growing as musicians, getting performance confidence, and absolutely rockin it, makes me remember why we started this ETI_Journey... The GangStars were fantastic and put on a great performance and mash up. Jazzy B again was stella with fluro shoelaces to boot! Mel T is becoming quite an accomplished singer and Brayton...where have you been hiding? Wow man wow! Michael was again a perfect Troublemaker. Jessica, Macy and Londyn belted out songs that would leave Alesha Keys jealous! Backed up by our drummers Brandon, Ellis, and Jacob, the crew were once again on form and put on a (Gawler) show stopping performance. And of course what better way of congratulating the performances than by an explosion of fireworks at the finale! Thanks to Mark Randall from the Galwer Show, the performers, the ETI_Educators and of course to the performer’s hard working and supportive ETI_Parents and Families.

ETI_Green in Bali ETI_Management were fortunate to recently spend a week in Bali. Along with catching up with friends living overseas we were privileged to be able to spend the day with the amazing kids and carers from the Salam Orphanage. We felt blessed when the kids welcomed us with a traditional dance and then we helped out with lunch and groceries. Its amazing how much a few bags of rice, noodles and other groceries can do for a small non-government funded orphanage. The Salam Orphanage is home to 47 beautiful children who have lost their families. They run purely on the generous donations of people who can afford to give. We didn’t feel like we gave much, just some groceries, a bit of money, a few soccer balls and of course a Ukelele!! But what they appreciated most was our time and we theirs. We were surprised by the talented musicians that we found there also. The kids all learn dance, or play guitar and ukelele from a young age and we were treated to a fantastic rendition of ‘Sweet Child o’Mine’. Such an amazing experience and the start of ETI_Green journey. Stay tuned.
