Dear petcetera etc customer, 2023 sees the 25th anniversary of the purchase of petcetera etc by the Wilson family in October 1998. The sale was completed on the Tuesday… and on the Thursday we did our first show at Doncaster Racecourse – talk about throwing ourselves into things!

The years have seen a lot of changes for petcetera etc –the biggest being the transition to evolving into an online retailer. Another major change was the relocation of the whole business 140 miles from East Yorkshire to the Cheshire / Shropshire border in the West in 2001 – just as the foot and mouth outbreak happened!

Our next plan was to open a shop and showroom on the premises Bradeley Green – the doors opened for the first time in 2013 and our store is now open 7 days a week, with customers visiting from all over the UK and abroad. This year, to complement the shop, we are opening a café, farm shop, function room, as well as a dog walk. Exciting times ahead!
