My fellow heroes and i were transferred from a shelter that didn't have the resources to care for us.
We needed to do some more growing before being ready for adoption, so we went directly into foster care.
Shortly after our foster mom got us, my brother max started feeling a little funny...
Lethargy! vomiting!
loss of appetite!
The foe was...
PARVOVIRUS!
Parvo is EXTREMELY contagious! Despite max immediately being quarantined, All of our heroes were soon experiencing symptoms.
This illness can be deadly, so pet alliance had to act fast!
Luckily, My siblings and I had a secret weapon...
There is no cure for parvo, however...
THERE IS
A
VACCINE THAT CAN PREVENT SEVERE ILLNESS AND DEATH!
Puppies should receive a series of booster shots to jumpstart their immunity against common diseases, including parvo. a booster should then be given yearly throughout their lives.
Our heroes had already been given two of these boosters!
Any dog can contract parv but puppies are the most vulnerable due to their Developing immune system
Staying up to date on vaccines is the best way to prevent diseases like parvo from spreading!
All that was left to do was continue to quarantine and Prepare for battle!
We were given fluids, medication, and lots of love from our foster!
These and our vaccines acted as our sidekicks as we fought the skirmish inside of our bodies.
Thanks to our backup, All five of us Quickly defeated the evil Parvo!
Max, Sarah, and the rest of our heroes are now healthy, thriving, and adopted!
