TILLIE’S STORY
P E T-X i C A S E S T U DY PET-Xi’s Routes2 project supports 15-24 year olds who are NEET in Coventry into a positive destination. As well as access to learning, there is ongoing weekly support from a mentor on a 1:1 basis. Tillie suffers from a condition called PANS, which also causes her to have severe anxiety and OCD. Going to school became difficult for Tillie due the effects the c ondition has had on her health. The school she attended have not been able to support Tillie to ensure she had a positive e xperience and outcome so therefore has resulted in Tillie being disengaged from school and her peers for the last 2 years of her education. Tillie has so far been attending Employability Skills, maths and English sessions, as well as completing a Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care and participated and enjoyed engaging in learning again. Tillie has also been enjoying dance lessons with Ellie on Friday via Zoom. Through building her confidence and getting engaged back into education, Tillie has now decided to apply for a place at college to study Beauty Therapy.
