MITCHELL’S STORY

Support provided by PET-Xi Mitchell and two other employees took part in PET-Xi’s Excel Level 2 course which looks at the practical uses of the computer programme that benefit businesses. The course gives learners a high degree of insight into how Excel works in a practical and hands-on way and enables them to consider how the software might be further utilised to improve existing business efficiency. Course leader Eugene Mawn said: “Many businesses already use elements of Excel, but don’t really understand how they can utilise it fully. “The Level 2 course looks at spreadsheet features and formulas and how these can be used as a tool to make sense of data very quickly and efficiently, while presenting it in meaningful tables and charts. “Mitchell and his colleagues were excellent learners and worked extremely hard throughout the course. “He was really focused on all of the activities, asked questions when needed and contributed to the group. I hope he gained a lot of knowledge that will be useful in his business.”
