P E T-X i C A S E S T U DY Hannah Lowis, aged 21, finished college three years ago after studying animal welfare and animal management. She has since had various part time jobs, but has never secured full-time employment. While looking for support with finding a full-time position, Hannah’s dad came across PET-Xi and she got in touch.
Support provided by PET-Xi Hannah was mentored by PET-Xi Recruitment and Professions Co-Ordinator Charlotte Briscoe who explored potential career opportunities with her. Charlotte also worked with Hannah to improve her CV, develop her knowledge about the job application process and build her confidence. Charlotte said: “Hannah had never been in full time employment so we were really focused on finding a job that was right for her. “She was really lovely, engaged with all of the support we provided and open to various different career suggestions. “While Hannah was with us, I was contacted about some positions available with Hello Fresh, in Nuneaton, so I got in touch to ask if she would be interested in applying. “I then supported her with the application, helped her prepare for the interview and gave tips to help improve her confidence and I’m very pleased that she was offered a position.”
The outcome PET-Xi helped Hannah to secure a full-time role as a warehouse operative with Hello Fresh where she has now been for three months.
