CHLOE’S STORY
P E T-X i C A S E S T U DY Chloe Jones, aged 22, studied creative media p roduction at college before being out of employment for a number of years. She was referred to PET-Xi by the National Careers Service to develop her employability skills and support her in finding a job.
Support provided by PET-Xi Chloe completed a 14-week Business Admin Traineeship with PET-Xi which included level 2 courses in customer service, team leading and IT. She also completed work experience at a charity shop where she was able to put some of her new skills into practice. Her commitment and dedication throughout the traineeship saw Chloe awarded a six-month business admin placement at PET-Xi which was created through the Government’s Kickstart scheme. Nicole Sinclair, a Traineeship Mentor at PET-Xi, was Chloe’s mentor. She said: “Chloe did extremely well on the traineeship programme – she shone throughout, showed a commitment from the start and received some excellent feedback. “She also received some brilliant feedback from her work experience placement, and this along with her performance meant that we were more than happy to offer her a Kickstart role. “Her confidence has really grown, she’s one of the nicest people you could work with and is a great addition to the team. She was also awarded a PET-Xi Learner of the Month award in recognition of her achievements.”
