ENCOURAGEMENT
PLANO EAST KEY CLUB BRINGS YOU... acts of kindness that enveloped Plano East High School Students.
Every year, when spring time rolls around, buzz is throughout the air of when the next test is going to be: the next class period! All that buzz soon turns into silence as the students settle down into their seats, preparing for the next hour of assessments.

But what did Plano East Key Clubbers do? They helped these students in preparation for their next academic challenge by writing sweet little notes for their peers.

Take a sticky note!
Behind the scenes of each message written, Key Clubbers made groups of about six to seven people, tallying up to eight groups in total. Each was tasked with the mission to decorate a poster which was to hold twenty to thirty sticky notes. The content of the sticky notes was to be cheerful and supportive messages, with the Plano East student body in mind.
Many members decided to decorate their posters with high-spirited symbols of hearts to line up with the month of February and Valentines Day. In addition to this, some members chose to include refreshing phrases such as "Tough cookies con't crumble," and "You got this!"
Once through this process, PESH Key Club officers posted the posters all around the school for Plano East students to take as they walked through the hallway for the next two weeks. The encouraging sticky notes were quickly taken and by Friday of the second week, all the fun little messages had been taken to a new home.
Thank you to our fellow Key Clubbers for making this event happen!
