Creating more power with the driver At the address position,the ball should be positioned inside the left heel with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart as this will create a more solid base to work from. Then with a smooth wide take away, get the left shoulder behind the ball with the right knee remaining flexed . Initiate the down swing with the hips moving slightly towards the target , this in turn will help the arms and club drop on to the correct path towards the ball,at impact your left hip should have cleared, allowing the arms and club too fully extend towards the target.
