Every time, it gives me a

whisper of happiness happiness.

It is so round, so white and

perfect.

God hung it there for all to see,

but especially because He loves me.

In the city, the moon seems to hug each tall building. Moonlight reflects o the windows, making a thousand points of light.

I have even seen an airplane fly across it.

At harvest time, it can look huge, orange, and g l ow ing .

Clouds chase each other across the light of the moon, making patterns.

Each day, the moonlight changes a little.

Tonight, it looks like the Cheshire Cat’s smile.

Soon, it will be so dark

that I can hardly see it.

A new moon!

Sometimes, there is a halo of light around the moon.

Sometimes it seems far away,

but still it winks

down

at me.

When I am in the car at night, the moon plays through the treetops.

I love the moon!

Just knowing that it is there makes me feel at no matter where I am.
