Wildlife here is so relaxed and prolific that ‘armchair game viewing’ is a defining attraction at Sirikoi. Big herds of elephant are seen almost daily passing the lodge, and shy and rare species also live here, like black and white rhino and leopard, along with cheetah and lion. Lewa is also home to the Northern Five, those unique species found only in Northern Kenya: reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. Wild dogs traverse the area too, ever on the move in search of food.

T R AVE L Sirikoi is easily accessible by air and by road Flying: The lodge is just a 20 minute drive from the Lewa airstrip, which is served by both private charters and scheduled flights from Nairobi. Sirikoi is approximately a 50 minute flight from Nairobi by plane.

Helicopter can land close by and can be arranged from both airports in Nairobi.

Driving to Sirikoi from Nairobi takes about 5 hours. It is a scenic drive through the highlands of Kenya and past Mount Kenya. Due to the length of the drive, flying is recommended. Airstrip transfers are included.
