Glorious L eobo is situated on a 20 000-acre private reserve overlooking the Palala Valley within the beautiful Waterberg mountains and is near to The Observatory. Just a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, the lodge sleeps 22 in 9 chalets and caters for adults as well as young explorers. This is a safari destination where things are done a little differently – the superb exclusive-use private villa allows your group to feel completely at home, with no structured daily programs or time restrictions.

For those who wish to tread a little lighter on the wild side, there is a heated swimming pool, with a thatched cabana for when the African sun is at its highest and a telescope for unparalleled stargazing once the nights are inky black. A cook will tailor-make a menu for your group and ensure that you don’t have to lift a finger. Meals can be enjoyed inside, at the dining table on the enormous deck with its panoramic views and sunken seating around the fire-pit, or in the boma, where everybody eats around a bonfire under the stars.
