Lovingly run by owner extraordinaire Laurent Bayard, Couvaloup Guest House’s otherworldly eclectic style finds its inspiration from his travels abroad, inviting its guests on an ethereal and rejuvenating journey to foreign lands and spaces. Couvaloup, translating to the English, ‘Wolf’s Den,’ was bestowed its name in tribute to the little French village where Laurent spent his childhood summers with his grandparents. This was Laurent’s first introduction to the simple pleasures of country living, inspiring in him a passion for homegrown, tenderly prepared food and a deep love for the marvels of nature.
