INSIDE..
Powering into 2021 As the first days of January dawn there are plenty of things to look forward to locally this year. For local students at Coolum State High School and Peregian Springs State School new classrooms and school facilities will come online after a year of construction in 2020. For residents in Peregian Springs it’s likely the last of the land sales in the estate will occur by midyear, marking the end of a project launched more than two decades ago. The next steps on a few of the major land parcels yet to be developed, such as the hill top at Pavillions
and the vacant blocks near Coles at Koel Circuit are likely to happen too, with a public consultation period to watch out for at Koel Circuit at least. With houses selling in a matter of days and weeks right now, real estate is going to be a hot topic in 2021. On the retail front, the opening of the juice bar at the front of Coles will add another element to the shopping centre offering and see the centre at capacity in terms of tenancy. There’s plenty to look out for and we’ll be doing all we can to keep you up to date. Happy New Year.
