They’re back! The massive display of Christmas lights are up at Bellbird Place in Peregian Springs with the family once again fundraising for IFYS and Inclusive Kids.
Christmas lights up the streets Ever wondered what it would be like to sequence your Christmas lights to music and make it look like there’s a singing penguin on your front door? Well, local resident Michael Young did, and he’s turned his front yard, at 10 Gracemere Boulevarde, into and interactive concert where viewers are able to tune their radios to 107.5FM and watch the lights dance to music in their ears. He’s even created a facebook page for them @younglightsau where you can watch a video of one song playing to get the idea. Ryan Kirkham and his family at Bellbird Place must be close to
running out of room for lights. Their massive annual display is known across the Coast and raises money every year for great causes. This year it is IFYS and Inclusive Kids. Other Peregian Springs streets with lights up already that are well worth a look include The Avenue, Dornoch Way, Majella Close, Augusta Circuit and Sandhurst Crescent. Peregian Breeze residents have a glow about them too and a slow drive through the suburb is rewarded with the twinkle of hundreds of lights. If you have a lights display to share, feel free to add it our Peregian Springs News’ Facebook page post.
