Good evening,
On behalf of The Percy Hedley Foundation, I am delighted to welcome you all to our annual charity ball. It is truly an honour to have you here with us tonight as we come together to celebrate and support the incredible work that our charity has been doing for over seven decades.
Since our founding in 1953, The Percy Hedley Foundation has been dedicated to making a meaningful difference to the lives of children, young people and adults with disabilities throughout the North East.
With your support, we are able to continue providing vital education, residential care, and college opportunities to over 550 individuals and their families every year. We are proud to be the largest charity of our kind in this region and it is thanks to the generosity of supporters like you that we can continue to change lives for the better.
This evening is about more than just celebration—it’s about ensuring that we can continue to provide the life-changing services that so many families depend on. The funds raised tonight will go directly towards
supporting our schools, residential homes, college and adult learning programme, helping us to create brighter futures for all those we serve.
So, as we come together tonight to enjoy great food, wonderful company and fantastic entertainment, let’s remember the impact that each of us can have. Every donation, every bid and every gesture of support makes a difference.
