Circulating Collection & Books in Review + Buildings and Grounds
Thanks to your generous support on Library Giving Day, Pequot Library has additional, much-needed funds to use toward our library books and materials budget, which means more circulating items (books, audiobooks, and ebooks) for our community to enjoy.
The following is a selection of adult books from the 2021–2022 fiscal year from Pequot Library’s Chief Librarian Christine Catallo. Whether they were featured in our Meet the Author series or among the most checked-out books of the year, all are recommended reading!

Buildings and Grounds Improvements
Pequot Library made multiple improvements to its physical structure, which included sealing the Lexan panels that dot the perimeter of the 1971-72 addition. We also painted the shipping containers that house used books, repaired the wood porch on the cottage, and fixed the handrail at the rear entrance. In the interest of safety, the Library removed multiple dead trees from the property, but planted six additional trees along the shipping container line.
