10. The Light House On the top level of the Tyler Campus Center (TCC), the Light House is home to student mailboxes, Jamba Juice, the Hub for Spiritual Life information center, and hosts many student events.

The renowned Pepperdine theatre program puts on one musical and one studentproduced play on the main stage every school year, and the music program produces an opera in the spring. The annual Dance in Flight production offers students outside the performing arts great opportunities to take the stage.

The Pepperdine residence halls are a home away from home on campus, providing a safe and encouraging environment for students. Our 20 residential halls each house approximately 50 students, with six suites that share common areas and bathrooms.

Stauffer Chapel is a place of worship, prayer, meeting, and quiet, and a visible reminder of the relationship between the life of faith and the life of the mind that Pepperdine encourages through its commitment to its Churches of Christ heritage.

Runnels Sports and Recreation Village The Pepperdine tennis pavilion, baseball stadium, and track and field boast spectacular views, helping our 17 NCAA Division I athletic programs on their way to an impressive 14 national team championships and 12 national individual championships. Our facilities have been the venues of historic sporting events. The Olympic-size swimming pool hosted the water polo matches of the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Along with lecture halls and offices, the Center for Communication and Business is home to Pepperdine’s own TV station, NewsWaves, which is broadcast to more than 13,000 people in the Malibu and Calabasas area. The facility also houses our radio station, KWVS, and the newsroom for our award-winning student newspaper, the Graphic. Mullin Town Square is at the center of main campus, bustling with students walking to class, studying, and enjoying the sunshine. This area also hosts many events during the school year, from our annual tree-lighting ceremony and Reel Stories Film Festival to Waves Market, which is a bimonthly farmers market and shopping collection of Malibu’s best small businesses.

The Keck Science Center holds classes for the popular Natural Science Division. Most of the rooms inside this building are small labs used for classes and research. The one-on-one guidance and mentorship science professors provide students are assets not available at a larger university.
Housing the Waves Cafe, the Rockwell Dining Center also consists of our Oasis made-to-order pizza restaurant, Thai noodle bar, Nature’s Edge convenience store, and beautiful outdoor patio offering ocean-view dining every night of the week. Stop in for a snack or come back later to enjoy a meal.

The Appleby Center is home to the Social Science and Religion Divisions. As part of the core curriculum, students are required to enroll in three religion classes. The first two classes delve into the Old and New Testaments, while the third is a Christianity and culture course.

Ninety-five percent of Pepperdine students participate in one of the school's highly regarded study abroad programs. The University offers a new leased-facility program in Kyoto, Japan, and residential programs in which students live with classmates in Pepperdine-owned facilities in Florence, Hauteville, Heidelberg, London, and Washington, DC. As a homestay, the Buenos Aires program offers a cultural-immersion experience.

The Mountain at Mullin Park [due to open fall 2026] A new space for everything extracurricular, at the Mountain's center will be a 3,600-seat arena with a 360-degree jumbotron, VIP suites, and a clubhouse with full-court views. The arena is also designed to host concerts, worship services, speakers, and career fairs, making it the hub for major campus events. Connected to the arena will be a three-story student center with a fitness facility, group workout spaces, study lounges, a student dining center, and wellness counseling.
