• Pupils are collaborating on creating a site-specific mural inspired by the theme ‘ThreadsofChange’ transforming a disused space around the swimming pool into a meaningful parting contribution to the school environment. It is very much a pupil-led project.
• Inspired by the work of Samantha French pupils are developing underwater portrait paintings exploring how light, movement and distortion affect the human form.
• They will learn to scale up their compositions onto wood focusing on accurate proportions and careful planning to achieve large-scale outcomes.
• Pupils will refine painting techniques experimenting with colour, pattern and texture to create depth and atmosphere in their work.

Kiswahili
Swimming Year 8 will play water polo to deepen their understanding of the rules of the game and have fun.
