• Pupils are developing a collaborative installation inspired by the theme ‘Threads of Change’ designing and constructing a Kenyan kiosk to exhibit their work.
• Drawing on the work of Stephen Mabatia pupils are creating collaged street scenes using textiles from Africa Collect Textiles including repurposed and found materials to explore sustainability and storytelling.
• Pupils will extend their observational drawings skills into large-scale collage and ink pieces on wood focusing on composition, texture and expressive mark-making.
• Pupils are completing and glazing their ceramic pots using the decal transfer process to incorporate photographic imagery into their designs.
• All artwork will be curated and assembled by pupils within the kiosk creating an immersive exhibition space that invites the audience to engage with their ideas and creative responses.

In Games, the children will continue to develop the concepts of game play in netball and in rugby. In netball, the children will play 7 a side matches and will be able to play in a variety of positions around the court; they will be encouraged to focus on one or two favored positions to develop positional awareness and skills. They will continue to develop their core skills of passing, movement, attack, and defense. In rugby, the children will be developing their passing, running, positional and spatial awareness and their tackling skills in a controlled game environment with a focus on safety and correct tackle technique. They will also be introduced to some specific positions in matches.
Year 7 will be doing water polo, learning how to play and all applicable rules of the game and having fun. They will also do time trials from week 5-week 8.
