All activities start on Monday 8th September 2025
Lunch time activities sessions
All pupils: All invite only sessions like music sessions and squad training take priority over other activities.
Year 6 pupils: In the final term of Year 6, pupils are encouraged to explore our scholarship sessions during lunch time activities in areas that spark their interest. These sessions are open to everyone and run on a trial basis until midway through Term 1 of Year 7. At that point, our teachers work closely with each pupil to assess their suitability for the full scholarship programme. In addition to the details provided in the scholarship brochure, there will be a Year 6 parent meeting in the first week of next term to share further information about the scholarship preparation process.
Year 7 pupils: When choosing activities, please be mindful that if you are already committed to a scholarship session, that session takes priority.
Parents, a reminder that children should have free, unstructured play time in their day, so please do not schedule them in to do an activity every day
New Afternoon Drama Club for Years 4 to 7
We are pleased to announce the introduction of a Drama Club commencing in September. This initiative arises from the increasing interest in drama across the school and aims to provide a structured yet inclusive platform for pupils to engage with the dramatic arts outside the existing scholarship framework and the normal drama lessons.
The club will run weekly on Tuesday afternoons and will be open to all pupils who wish to explore and develop their interest in drama. Sessions will focus on a range of performance techniques including voice, movement, improvisation, and character development, as well as fostering creativity, collaboration, and confidence.
Whether a pupil is an experienced performer or exploring drama for the first time, the Drama Club offers an enriching opportunity to cultivate skills that support both academic and personal growth.
Pupils can sign up for Drama Club with their Form Teachers along with all other lunchtime activities.
Battle of The Bands Rehearsals
Please note that Battle of the Bands rehearsals will start after the bands have been shortlisted and notified which is after Monday 6th October.
