1J Our topic this term is Safari.

We have enjoyed learning facts about the big five especially since most of us have seen at least two of the big five while on safari.

In Geography we have been learning about Kenya and its position in the world map.

The physical features like the mountains, lakes, rivers and game reserves.

We coloured and learnt what the colours of the Kenyan flag means.

In numeracy, we have learnt to count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s to 100. We have also learnt how to make equal groups and how to share equally. We also enjoyed learning greater than and less than signs.

In Literacy, we made little books and wrote our very own stories about Max the kitten. We also learnt and performed poems.
