My Story My name is Jenny Egan and I am the Operations Manager for Pentelow Wealth Management.

I am so proud to have made it on to a 17-person fundraising team that will embark on an exciting and challenging adventure in Nepal, in October 2024.

Our Aim

The team and I are travelling to Dhangadhi, West Nepal to work on the construction of a vocational centre, an establishment to help Nepalese teenagers further their education and skills upon leaving school.

This new school will add to the first Vocational Centre opened in 2017, where over 1,200 young people have so far received training within useful trades like carpentry, electrical, plumbing, aluminium fabrication, welding and tailoring.

We will be working extremely hard on the building site in the heat and humidity of the Kathmandu Valley.

I have already started this with walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks - 24 miles and 5,000ft in under 12 hours - that’s the same as walking from York to Leeds and the height of five Eiffel Towers!

To physically complete this challenge I will be increasing my fitness and strength, walking in the Lake District and at home, in my own time.

The total build of the Vocational Centre will cost £250,000 and through this Build and Trek we are hoping to raise £150,000, with me raising £5,000.

I therefore need to raise sponsorship and hoped you could help me. My travel is being fully funded by Pentelow Wealth Management so every penny that is donated will go directly to the Supporting Nepal’s Children charity. Sponsorship opportunities include: Your text here

Thank you Every pound I raise will be matched by the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation (SJPF) who will donate the monies towards UK charity, Onside, a National Youth Charity who help all young people have the opportunity to shine.
