Take in an immersive, mixed-reality art installation reimagining a traditional Caribbean corner store as a futuristic gathering space. Rooted in Dominican and Afro-Caribbean cultural memory, the work blends physical installation, projection mapping, sound design and interactive storytelling.
Wings and Water: The Space Between by GrioXArts
JULY 3 - AUGUST 1, CHERRY STREET PIER
This community-driven art installation explores themes of freedom, fluidity, and collective identity through textile-based storytelling. The centerpiece is a large-scale “flagspace”, recreating an American flag composed of hand-embroidered bandanas created during public workshops. In partnership with MSAC.
Sonia Shiel: Solo Exhibition

This site-specific, iterative exhibition will be one of three locations on the east coast. The paintings and materials in the exhibition will include nautical sensibilities related to the Delaware River Waterfront.

Septa Bus Routes
Routes 5, 12, 17, 21, 25, 33, 38, 42, 44, and 48 all provide convenient drop-off locations at the Waterfront.

The RiverLink Ferry connects the Camden Waterfront to the Philadelphia Waterfront.
BY CAR
Parking may be limited, so we encourage you to plan ahead or take taxi or rideshare services. If you drive, visit ArriveattheWaterfront.com for a list of parking options.
BY BIKE
Use the two-lane biking path available via the Delaware River Trail, which runs along Columbus Boulevard from Pier 70 in South Philadelphia to Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown.
BY FOOT
The Waterfront is accessible by foot via South Street, Spruce Street, Dock Street, Market Street, Race Street, and Washington Avenue, all connecting with Columbus Blvd. You can also walk along the Delaware River Trail.
