We kicked off February with the excitement of our Super Bowl party, and what better way to close out the month than with a margarita?

Thank you to those who joined at Ricarena Restaurant to celebrate National Margarita Day. Please see page 5 for the photos from all the fun events we hosted in February.

Who would’ve thought grilled pizza could be so good? A special thanks to our resident host, Erica, for her help at our “Make Your Own Grilled Pizza” event. The pizzas came out delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! If you missed it, be sure to check out our story saved on our Instagram highlights. STRETCH TECHNIQUES Do you feel stiff? Does your lower back ache? Do you have difficulty raising your arms over your head?

If you answered yes to any of these, then you need to try these two stretches next time you’re in the fitness center. Both stretches pictured beside are variations of a child’s pose you may have done in yoga class. Both do an excellent job releasing tension in the lower back, hamstrings and hips, while also allowing for greater mobility in both the shoulders and upper back! Win win!

Begin with the standing version illustrated in figure 1, then once you feel comfortable, continue to the floor as in figure 2. If you would like more information on these stretches or personal training, please contact Christian at primehealthmanagement@gmail.com.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW MASSAGE THERAPIST Residents, please welcome our new on-site massage therapist, Alissa Steeb! Some of you had the opportunity to meet Alissa at our complimentary massage session in February. Alissa joins the fitness team at Prime Health Management and will be offering massage therapy services such as deep tissue, intra-oral, cupping, and pregnancy massage.

Alissa comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and has been practicing massage therapy for over 12 years. She works hard every day to provide you with the best possible experience of highly skilled, customized, quality bodywork every time…no exceptions.
