Smoking and vaping of any kind are not permitted anywhere in the building which include patios, amenity areas, pool decks, parking garage or sidewalks.

Please be sure to inform your guests of this policy as well.

Please place all trash bags inside the trash chute. Trash is not to be left on the floor in the trash room at any time. There are recycling totes on the third and fourth floors of the parking garage by the north elevators where you can dispose of small cardboard boxes, bottles and cans. Large cardboard boxes need to be broken down and placed in the cardboard container located in the trash room on the first floor of the parking garage between the bike racks and East Lobby entrance.

Performing a standard push up from the ground can be one of the most challenging exercises we can perform.

Incorrectly shown in figure 1, you’ll notice Christian’s hips are almost touching the ground, his back is rounded and his neck is not in proper alignment with the rest of the spine.

If your push up resembles something similar to this, you’ll want to modify it until you build the proper strength needed to perform it correctly.

This is where the smith machine comes in as in figure 2. You’ll be able to adjust the height of the bar, making the exercise either easier or harder. The higher the bar, the easier the push up will be. The lower the bar to the ground, the more challenging it will be. Start with the bar set to a higher position. As you gain more strength, you can progress by lowering the bar one notch at a time. Only progress until you can perform at least 10 pushups with perfect form.
