We hope this letter finds you and your families doing well. We want to begin by sincerely thanking you for your continued support of our operation over the years. If you are new to Dukart Angus Ranch, welcome. We are glad to have you with us. Your confidence in our program and the values we stand behind means a great deal to our family.
This year’s sale will once again be an online, internet-only event hosted by Bill Pelton Livestock Marketing & Consulting at www.billpelton.com. Bidding will open on December 1, with lots beginning to close on December 3 at 1:00 PM MST. If you have any difficulty with internet access or the bidding platform, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to assist in any way we can.
You are invited to stop out anytime to inspect the bulls or the cowherd. Our breeding philosophy remains centered on producing cattle with strong maternal traits. Our females are expected to calve unassisted, maintain sound structure and good udders, and be enjoyable to work with. A good cow should be able to take care of herself—and make your job more enjoyable, not more difficult.
This year’s bulls were developed with practicality in mind. They wintered and summered on native prairie grass and are currently receiving a balanced ration of grass/alfalfa hay. They are built to work, hold up, and complement a variety of commercial and seedstock operations.
