Since 1995, PELLENC has been revolutionizing the job of tying-in vines with professional solutions recognized for their precision, speed and robustness. From the AP25, the first professional electronic tying machine, to the FIXION 2 in 2018, PELLENC is acknowledged as the technological leader in the sector. In our vineyards, every movement counts. When you tie in dozens of hectares during the season, you look for fast and comfortable tools. Since I’ve been using PELLENC tying tools, my tying-in work has changed radically.
The new F3X tying tools I was able to test are very light and easy to use. The handle shape is carefully designed for long days: no wrist pain even after 8-hours work. This tool is super fast but still has very good battery life; I easily last the whole day with a full battery. It’s obviously an essential ally to save time and preserve your health among the vines!

I had an early opportunity to preview test the new version of the PELLENC tying tool fitted with the horizontal head.
For us, growing kiwi fruit, tying vines to cross-wires is a repetitive, often tedious step, especially when we have to climb onto raised walkways. With this tool, I can tie-in from the ground, without moving anything. By itself, that’s a huge time saving!
The tool is really responsive, and the different tightness levels are really well thought out: I can adjust the tension of the tie so that it holds the branch without damaging it, while giving it room to grow naturally during the season.
This tool will save a lot of time for all tree growers who work with horizontal trellising.
For me, it’s a real innovation for my work.
