RECYCLABILITY

As for the batteries, 98% of the lithium-ion cell components can be recovered using a hydrometallurgical recycling process. From 1 January 2022, the management method of the WEEE eco-tax will change: the eco-tax will no longer be charged to the user customer but only to the manufacturer. The eco-organisations are responsible for organising their collection. For example, in France, the approved ecoorganisations are as follows:

ZERO WEED KILLERS: AN ALTERNATIVE TO CHEMICAL PRODUCTS Changes in European legislation are limiting the use of weed killers in public and private spaces. PELLENC offers a mechanical battery-powered weed removal solution as an alternative to chemical products. The CULTIVION and CULTIVION ALPHA soil cultivators are specially designed to working the soil, enabling fast, deep and longterm weed removal.

ZERO EMISSION For over 10 years, PELLENC has been investing heavily in the design and manufacturing of a comprehensive range of “Zero Emission” battery-powered tools. The goal is to offer the same range of tools with at least the same performance levels (power, autonomy, etc.) as their thermal alternatives, with no direct CO2 emission. Our engineers take an average of three years to develop our ergonomic products. Light-weight, movement support, pressure offsets are all key factors surveyed carefully to facilitate the daily work of users and reduce any repetitive stress risk.
