T-ball is the perfect introduction to baseball & softball for young players. Our instructional program, partnered with the Start Smart Development Program, helps children develop the primary skills of hitting, running, fielding & throwing in a fun & active environment.
Players begin to learn the basic rules of the game while also building self-esteem & learning sportsmanship & teamwork. Please purchase a metal T-ball bat & batting helmet that will be needed when games start. Players will be provided with an additional Start Smart kit that includes a non-metal bat, 2 Koosh balls & a fielding glove to help provide safer equipment in the early stage of skill development. If you would like to become a youth sports coach with Pelham Parks and Recreation, please visit our online registration portal under the Youth Sports tab, find the “Coach Application” on your account dashboard for the corresponding season that you would like to become a volunteer coach for, and fill out the necessary registration information. Once you submit info, you will receive a follow up email from one of our Athletics Coordinators with next steps. Up-to-date documentation is required BEFORE being allowed to coach on-field. Documentation includes a completed volunteer form for background check, and a Coach Safely certificate of completion from ARPA. NOTE:

America is turning 250! Join us as we celebrate our veterans and our community! Individual Membership
Must be a resident of Pelham and at least 19 - years of age.
Family Membership
Must be a resident of Pelham. Includes up to two adults and any unmarried children under the age of 23 living in the same household.
Business Membership
Must be employed with a local business or organization in Pelham.
Silver Sneakers/Renew Active
Membership/Silver & Fit
Must present Silver Sneakers/Renew Active card. Allows individuals age 65+, access to walking track, weight/cardio equipment and Silver Sneakers certified group exercise classes.
Prime Fitness Membership
Must present Prime membership card at the time of registration. Prime Fitness is a fitness program provided at no cost by your employer or health plan. It is a free fitness program for participants, age 18-64 years.

Family Kickball Night

Time: 6:00 p.m. Game; 7:00 p.m. pizza and popsicles
Age All ages Location: Pelham Rec Center Gym
Register the entire family for a night of kickball! Families pair up and play against other families in a friendly competition at Pelham Rec Center. Games will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by pizza and popsicles for all. NO experience necessary. Space limited. Advance registration required.
