Discuss the importance of staying close to one’s parents when one is outside. Advise the children to go to the customer service counter if they get lost.

Show the children pictures of some places where they need to be quiet. Ask them why they are not allowed to make noise there. Remind them not to make noise at those public places.

Ask the children if they queue up while waiting for the bus or taxi. Advise them to be patient. Discuss the importance of being patient.

Get some children to talk about how they take care of public property. Teach the children to take care of and appreciate public property.

Bring some books, potato chips, toys, pencils, sweets and bread to class. Get 3 children to act as buyers. Give them some ‘money’ to buy the things, and observe what they buy.

After the role play, let the children know your observations. Teach them the importance of only buying the things they need and not waste their money.

Get the children to role-play a shopping trip. Provide the children with other scenarios related to being honest, then ask them what they would do in those situations.

Get the children to act as a waiter or waitress, and customers. Observe if the children are speaking confidently. Encourage them if they are afraid to speak and act. Encourage the children to be brave and confident.
