Dear 2014 JCI Conference Delegates and Honored Guests,
St. Julian’s | Malta
Greetings from JCI Malta!
A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO THE 2014 JCI EUROPEAN CONFERENCE
During the past months, the 2014 JCI Conference Organizing Committee has been developing an exciting, enlightening and entertaining event. Here in Malta, JCI members will be presented with unique opportunities to engage with thought leaders, receive valuable skills development programs, participate in workshops, company visits, networking events and develop partnerships that will lead to greater collaboration for positive change. This 2014 JCI European Conference in Malta will truly be a wonderful, unique “knightly experience”! The Maltese islands lie virtually at the center of the Mediterranean and are considered a very diverse country given their rich history. Explore the megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso’s Cave — get ready for mystery and an extraordinary experience! The countryside is covered with medieval towers, wayside chapels and the oldest known human structures in the world, making the Islands often described as an open-air museum. The popular town of St. Julian’s used to be a very peaceful coastal town known for its Latin architecture and beautiful greenery. Nowadays, St. Julian’s offers a vide variety of culture to explore, from nature over medieval architecture and tourism-oriented businesses as well as an exciting nightlife. Bring your enthusiasm, ideas and passion to each Conference event, workshop and seminar and leave with the tools, skills and new partnerships you need, to be the leaders your communities need. Conference Organizing Committee, our Team Europe, JCI Vice Presidents, Area Director and I are happy to help you in any way throughout the event. Do not hesitate to ask, should you have any questions. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you this June to create impact in St. Julian’s, Malta! Best regards,
Ismail Haznedar 2014 JCI Executive Vice President for Europe
