A DAY AS A THERAPIST A
GUIDING PROGRESS THROUGH CONNECTION, EXPERTISE
As a therapist at PMC the impact of your work extends far beyond each session. You play a meaningful role in helping children build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to navigate their world, whether that’s taking first steps, communicating a need, regulating emotions, or engaging more fully in daily life Just as importantly, you support families, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical strategies that carry over into the home and community.
Schedule
The majority of our clients have a recurring appointment, so therapists really known their clients well. Employees (excluding PRN) have built in breaks and paid plan time throughout their weeks
Documentation
Documentation is integrated into your workflow, not an afterthought, allowing you to stay present during sessions while maintaining high-quality care.
Treatment
Sessions are hands-on, individualized, and often collaborative, with opportunities to co-treat or consult in real time with other disciplines. Evaluations are typically and hour in length, while follow-up treatment visits range from 30-60 minutes, on average.

We have multiple individual treatment rooms as well as a large sensory gym in all of our locations Other equipment we have include: therapy pool, litegait system, Snoezelen room (bubble tubes, fiber optics, light switches, vibro acoustics, sensory wall, projector and more) and a vast library of toys and games Weofferaquatic
A DAY AS AN INSTRUCTOR
GUIDING PROGRESS THROUGH CONNECTION, EXPERTISE, AND TEAMWORK
As a Instructor at PMC, you help create experiences where children can grow through joy, movement, and connection. Your role is essential in building confidence, encouraging participation, and making sure every child feels included and successful in a group setting Through thoughtfully designed activities and your ability to adapt in the moment, you help children discover new skills and abilities in a fun, supportive environment.
Class & Activity Instruction
Leading structured and semi-structured group sessions that promote participation, skill-building, and fun in an inclusive environment.
Preparation & Planning
Setting up materials, planning activities, and preparing spaces that support smooth, engaging, and developmentally appropriate group experiences.
Engagement & Behavioral Support
Adapting activities in real time to support a wide range of abilities, personalities, and needs while maintaining a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
Communication with Families
Sharing meaningful updates with families, helping them understand the purpose behind activities, and guiding them toward other PMC programs that may further support their child’s development and experience
A DAY AS A THERAPY TECH
GUIDING PROGRESS THROUGH CONNECTION, EXPERTISE
As a Therapy Technician at PMC, your impact is felt in the moments that keep care moving forward. You help create the conditions where meaningful therapy can happen, ensuring spaces are ready, transitions are smooth, and children feel supported and engaged throughout their time in the clinic Your presence allows therapists to focus more fully on individualized care, while also helping children feel safe, regulated, and welcomed.
Session Support
Supporting children during transitions, therapy sessions, activities, or routines as directed, helping maintain engagement, regulation, and participation.
Clinic Support
Preparing therapy spaces, maintaining cleanliness, organizing materials, and ensuring we have a clean and ready work environment to support a safe and welcoming clinic environment
Team Support
Acting as a key support partner to therapists and instructors by anticipating needs, responding to requests, and contributing to a collaborative team dynamic.
Creative Support
Create therapy and class materials, visual supports, and engaging resources Therapy Technicians also support the enhancement of clinic spaces through seasonal décor that help create a warm, motivating, and child-friendly atmosphere.
A DAY AS A SWIM INSTRUCTOR
GUIDING PROGRESS THROUGH CONNECTION, EXPERTISE, AND TEAMWORK
No two days look exactly the same at PMC, but every day is rooted in connection, energy, and meaningful impact. As a swim instructor, you’re not just teaching skills You are helping children build confidence, overcome fears, stay safe, and experience success in a supportive, inclusive environment
Preparation
Each day begins with intention Instructors review their schedule, consider each swimmer’s goals, and set up equipment that ensures every child feels safe, motivated, and supported.
Swim Sessions
Instructors lead engaging, skill-based lessons that build water safety, confidence, and technique. Through encouragement, clear communication, and hands-on guidance, they help swimmers progress at their own pace, celebrating every small win along the way
Adaptive Approach
At PMC, no two swimmers are the same. Instructors thoughtfully adapt each lesson to meet sensory, physical, and emotional needs in real time. This flexibility ensures that every child can participate, grow, and feel successful
The Result
By the end of each session, progress goes far beyond swimming skills Children leave feeling more confident and capable, while families gain trust and reassurance. What starts as a lesson becomes something bigger building independence, resilience, and a love for movement that carries far beyond the pool
