Books are objects of beauty, both outside and inside... and they are to be judged by their covers. The more serious a subject is the less frivolous the cover is... the more classic a book is the more restrained the cover is. The cover, in fact, tells the story. The cover is inferential and suggestive. Books are windows to other worlds... there is no better gadget, if you have an imagination, that can take you to the far or inside worlds, and at the same time teach you how the language works, or can used, to explain everything... the old cliche that a picture is worth thousand words belittles the impact of words. How about a word, that can evoke or provoke a whole world -- words induce and spur our imagination... Aaaah... books! What would life be without them?
