Students at Pedare Christian College are offered many opportunities to experience and participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that enhance their learning and personal development. The aim is for all students to view activities positively and to engage in valuable learning opportunities. The College believes our Beyond the Classroom program will be challenging as we assist students to ‘reach their personal best’. Our extra-curricular program gives students the opportunity to learn new skills, whilst interacting with students who have similar interests at different year levels. Students can participate in a range of activities, many of which they may otherwise not have experienced. These activities play an important role in the total development of the student, and as such, are considered to be a vital part of the holistic education offered at the College. Many students develop a real love of the extra curricular activities that they participate in and take their commitment into their adult years. Camaraderie, teamwork, school spirit, leadership opportunities, discipline and lifelong friendships are founded in our various activities.
