All cans should be brought to school and put in the dumpster in front of the school. Any kinds of aluminum drink cans are acceptable. This is an easy way to help earn extra money for our school. A can-count slip will come home on April 25 to be returned to homeroom on April 26.

Pearland ISD invites you to its latest Social Media Parent Night: “Empathetic Social Media Responses in Crisis.” This free workshop will be Thursday, April 21, 67:30 p.m. at the Education Support Center (1928 N. Main). Everything said and done today can be filmed or recorded in real time -- even in crisis situations. Learn how social media impacts us and how we can respond empathetically to crisis on social media. (Presented by Clear Creek ISD prevention services coordinator Denise Zimmerman)
PISD Job Fair Have you been waiting for your chance to work in Pearland ISD? Your world-class adventure begins now! During the Pearland ISD Job Fair, applicants will have a chance to interview and potentially receive a job offer. The job fair will be Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m. to noon, at Pearland High School Searcy Campus, 3775 S. Main. Pearland ISD offers full medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage and paid leave to all employees. As contributing members of Teacher Retirement System of Texas, full-time employees also receive free basic life insurance ($20,000) and basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D). Pearland ISD’s starting teacher salary in 201516 was $51,200. In addition, the district offers competitive stipends for dual language, bilingual, English as a Second Language (ESL), Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), life skills and behavior intervention teachers.
Thank you all so much for your help with drop off in the mornings. Please remember that our doors open at 7:15 AM, the first bell rings at 7:45 AM and your child should be in their seat by 8:00 AM. As you enter the drop-off zone, please make sure your child is prepared to exit your vehicle. They should exit on the side of the vehicle against the curb. Please watch to make sure they are on the sidewalk with all of their belongings before pulling away.
