It’s just so frustrating to sit in your house, watch reels all day, and see what’s happening in your country and actually not being able to do anything about it. ZAH ARA CZAR · CO - O R GA N IZE R O F VA N CO UV E R D E M O N ST RAT IO N S

NEWS

People need to realize we’re seeing the erosion of the public postsecondary system. By shifting the financial burden of education largely onto the backs of students and their families we’re essentially privatizing the public school system. The federal government used to contribute 40% more to post-secondary education. They should restore those funds. Hypothesis two: the envious student A classmate in one of my lectures is constantly trying to outdo me. I got 0.5% higher than her on our las t exam, and she’s been trying to convince the professor that she was unfairly gra ded ever since. Sometimes I see her wa lking the same direction as me to my cla ss!!! Stalker alert. I bet you she also followed me to my car once and has been putting fak e tickets on my dash everyday since. Hon estly, I feel bad for her. Perhaps if she spent more time studying and less time on elaborate pranks, she’d be able to catch up to me. Wh o am I kidding? She’ll never be at my lev el.

After I returned from my Whistler roadtrip, I received a hefty fine from the rental car company I used. They said they received a fine because I had registered the wrong license plate at the hotel meter. Do they think I’m so naïve that I would pay made-up fines?? Come on, I’ve only registered the wrong license plate once — that’s it!
