Prayer of Confession

We confess, Eternal Father, that we are an impatient people.

We eat fast food, we shop at Quik Marts, we microwave meals in minutes, and flip channels without seeing anything. We fastforward through commercials, take power naps, and speed read.

We do not like to wait. The haste of our culture spreads into our spiritual lives, and we lose the ability to be people of patient waiting. Forgive this, and the other sin in our lives, which we confess now in silence‌

Milestones

Just as families keep in touch about joys and sorrows, our church family at Peachtree wants to do the same. During your prayers this week, we ask you to lift up these people to God.

Every summer, Peachtree’s students participate in opportunities to grow in their faith and in community.

Registration is still open for Rutledge (high school) and the middle school Chattanooga Mission Trip.

RUTLEDGE | JUNE 17–22 Celebrating its 75th year, Camp Rutledge is for high schoolers (rising grades 9–12) and will be filled with volleyball games, watermelon hunts, fried chicken, and discovering what it means to have a relationship with Christ.

CHATTANOOGA | JULY 15–20 All rising 7th and 8th grade students are invited to travel to Chattanooga and serve with the mission organization, YouthWorks. Registration is still available, but we can only take a limited number of students, so make sure to sign up soon.
