MEMORIAL DAY

As we celebrate Memorial Day weekend, we recognize that the freedoms we enjoy have come at a great cost, due in no small part to the bravery and unwavering dedication of those who have served in our armed forces.

Today, we honor fallen soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who exemplified the qualities of courage, honor, and commitment. These were men and women who displayed a deep love for their fellow countrymen, choosing to defend our cherished values and protect the lives of those they may never have known.

As we gather together, we offer prayers for those currently serving at home and abroad. We ask for God’s protection, wisdom, and guidance to be with them as they carry out their duties. May God watch over and protect them, may He comfort the families of the fallen, and may He continue to bless this great nation.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think about such things.
