Taipei, Taiwan
While Taiwan has been a haven for many gay individuals to travel to and enjoy the scenery and hospitality of the Taiwanese people, the country just legalized same-sex marriage in 2019 making it the first country in Asia to pass the legalization. While Pride Month is in June, Taipei like many other cities has their celebration in October. If traveling to Taiwan expect celebrations at some of the country’s top LGBTQ bars and venues while also enjoying luscious accommodations at their top rated LGBTQ friendly hotels.

Dear Peach,
What do I do about a friend of mine who is just becoming too damn clingy? They always want to be around me and always get upset whenever I try and get a moment to myself. It’s become annoying and I definitely can’t stand it.
Alright, buttercup. Buckle up.
So here’s the tea: 9 times out of 10 there is a reason for that person being attached to you in some way. It could be because they have abandonment issues, they might have deeper feelings for you, they have a fear of generally being alone… who knows?
What I do know is that instead of pushing this person away, you can set boundaries. Boundaries are great because they establish a clear line of what is appropriate and what isn’t. If this person is intruding on events or moments that you definitely need some alone time or privacy, then that might be the first thing we establish.
However, if it’s just a general feeling of a friend being overbearing… that’s a different conversation altogether Explain to the friend that you need a bit of space every now and then Explain that a bit of distance makes the heart grow fonder!
