A note from Erick, your Neighbourhood Manager
We know that having someone local to talk to can make all the difference when you want to know something or have a problem. As your Neighbourhood
Manager, I’m here for you to provide support and connect you with the services you need to keep safe, secure and comfortable in your home.
I’ve been working as a Neighbourhood Manager at Burridge Gardens for almost a year now, although I’ve been part of the Peabody team for much longer!
My role varies from day to day, but is focused on supporting residents with tenancy related issues and enquiries. This includes carrying out estate inspections to make sure that your home is safe and comfortable, meeting with residents to discuss your needs and helping with processes like successions.
Burridge Gardens Christmas Party
Friday 12 December 4pm-7.30pm
Burridge Gardens Community Centre
Come and join your neighbours for a fun Christmas celebration filled with party food and drink (while stocks last!), games, music, and much more!
Everyone is welcome!
A highlight of my job is being out and about in the neighbourhood, speaking with residents and getting involved with community events.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need support, advice or just a friendly chat. You can make an appointment to meet me at:

With temperatures definitely on the down turn, there are a few steps that you can take to make sure your home stays free of damp and mould over the winter.
Open the windows slightly, even for just 10 minutes a day, and make sure that vents aren’t blocked.
When cooking, cover pots, use your extractor fan, and open a window slightly to reduce steam.
In the morning, wipe your windows down, as condensation can collect around the edges.
Leave a gap between furniture and the wall to let air flow. avoid overfilling wardrobes and cupboards.
Avoid drying clothes on radiators - it can make the room colder and more humid.
Dehumidifiers can help keep small spaces dry and help clothes dry faster.
If you notice any damp or mould in your home, let us know as soon as you see it.
Postal services
Due to an expected busy pre-Christmas period, we would like to ask all residents to be mindful of the space available at the concierge office.
If you do have a parcel left, please collect it as soon as possible to enable our team to manage the space and accept as many deliveries as they can during this busy time.

Moving the concierge - give us your view
We’re looking at ways we can make the Concierge service as easy as possible for our residents to use.
One option we are looking at is moving the concierge desk to a new base at Forston Apartments. This will give more space and make things more secure.
We’d like to know what you think of this idea. You can give us your views at:
