Welcome Welcome to the 9th annual Uppin’ the Ante female sale. We have another extremely strong group of females and I’m certain you will find whatever you are looking for in this sale. There are fancy 4-H prospects, promising bred heifers and great young cows. This year’s sale is offering some of the best genetics there are in the province. It won’t matter if you’re looking for polled females, Full French females or red factor, it’s all here for you to pick from. This sale is very deep in quality! It is very exciting times in the beef business right now. Calf prices continue to be strong and the Char-cross calves still top the market in price and weight, day after day. Bull sales this past spring were hot once again! This is the time to invest in this great breed! On behalf of the group, I would urge you to come on the Friday before the sale and view the cattle and meet the wonderful people who bred them. As well, join us for a social on Friday evening. The cattle will be available for viewing the morning of the sale, so come early and enjoy lunch provided by the Uppin’ the Ante group. Landmark/Firewater x SVY Starstruck 8X Sale feature! This Simmie x Red Angus 2 year old cow is carrying an embryo out of the two-time Supreme Champion, SVY Starstruck 8X cow, and sired by either Landmark or Firewater. Both bulls were used on the flush, so sire of the ET calf won’t be known until DNA tested. These kind of opportunities don’t come along often, so take advantage. Heifer calf or bull calf, Firewater or Landmark, either will seem like a bargain a year from now.
