Saskatoon Livestock Sales, Saskatoon, SK | 5 miles west of Saskatoon on Hwy 14
Welcome!
The 39th Annual Sterling Collection sale will again exemplify the slogan of a “Tradition of Excellence and Value.” The seven consignors to this year’s sale have dug deep to bring you quality cattle from the top end of their programs. There are some solid proven producers with the proof of their ability beside them. There are some great future brood matrons bred to some of the most sought-after genetics in the industry and of course as always there are some great show heifer prospects that have the style and structure to take you to the top of the class at any level. The consignors are active in provincial Charolais boards and getting out and promoting their programs and the Charolais breed at the fall shows and sales. These are long term breeders with quality herds built over time. You will see all of them at Agribition, many with strings or pens including some of the sale offering. If you sat in any auction market this fall, you saw the premium being paid for the identifiable Charcross calves. The Charolais business is expanding with unprecedented bull sales this past spring with more bulls selling by auction than any time in the history of the breed. The opportunities in the Charolais breed are endless and you will never go wrong buying from sales and breeders like these. Quality cattle never cost and so many cattle out of this sale over the years have gone on to out produce themselves time and again. Take advantage of the fall sales to start your new herd or add quality to your existing program as this is a great time to do so. If we can be of any assistance, or get you more information before the sale to help facilitate your purchasing, please don’t hesitate to contact us, any of the sale staff or consignors. Always in the best interest of Charolais, Helge & Candace By

Bred March 30 to WCR Commissioner 593 P. We started using Blackjack after seeing how much milk the Pastor females had in production and appreciating the way their udders are picture perfect. With Tundra being a Blackjack x Kaboom, there is no doubt she is going to milk. We appreciate Tundra for the long clean lines she possesses and her feminine look. She is setting down a beautiful udder and being bred early to Commissioner, we think she will hit a home run. Mike Elder told us not to be selling any of these Blackjack females this summer because they are second to none once they get into production. Take advantage because these Blackjack females aren’t going to come for sale often! Video at www.huntercharolais.com.

A couple of years ago, we bought the Canadian Semen Rights in the Palgrove Justice bull, and have been super pleased with the results. We feel the Justice calves are going to have some big time performance. Emerald is a powerful female with impressive bone and lots of length. We love how deep hearted and how much spring of rib she has. We think the world of this heifer and wanted to offer our very best Justice calf this year. She will be in our show string at the National in Edmonton and at Agribition. With the power of Justice and the maternal excellence of the Gridmaker females, there won’t be a lot of guess work with this female. Check out her video at www.huntercharolais.com.

Fiji is a very sharp made, long-bodied Zeal daughter. She is very attractive, has great feet and leg structure, and is a very nice show prospect. Fiji’s mother, just a 2 year old, has totally impressed us with her production in year one. She is a heavy milking young cow.
