Welcome to our 7th Annual Bull Sale
G
reetings from our home to yours! Once again we are pleased to be hosting our Annual Bull Sale. It never ceases to amaze us at how quickly the years go by. Celebrating 25 years last year and now hosting our 7th Bull Sale, really puts time in perspective. We are very grateful to all who have supported us through those years and it is our hope that you can find something in this presentation of our bull pen that will work for you. We are excited to be presenting new bloodlines in our bull pen this year. We have our first Blackjack bull calves on offer and are very pleased with the strong interest in this bull. We have Nixon calves, which have been in high demand in our previous sales for their hair coat, overall body mass, and performance. We again have some Playboy sons. Playboy for years has been our calving ease bull, yet puts lots of performance in his calves. There are some Hercules and Canyon as well as others. As breeders we all know the search for the best genetics never ends, and we are always working to improve our herds and provide a strong set of bulls that will meet the needs of our customers year after year. Confirmation remains a priority to us. We feel this year’s bull pen is as even from top to bottom as we have ever had. The bulls are sound, have great hair, long bodied, deep through the hip, with great dispositions and good testicle development. These bulls have been raised on a balanced nutritional ration consisting of rolled
Visitors
corn, oats, barley and beet pulp, as well as a complete chelated mineral package. They are on free choice crested wheat alfalfa, and are pail fed twice a day so we can monitor the bulls on a consistent basis. Whether you require a calving ease bull for your heifer pen or a powerful performance bull to utilize on your mature cows, we feel there is a bull here to fit your program. If you haven’t taken the opportunity to use a Charolais bull before, we encourage you to come to the sale and have a look at what our program has to offer. Using a Charolais bull in your cross breeding program will maximize weight gains; which in turn will give you heavier calves at weaning; which we all know will increase your bottom line! We once again have video footage on the bulls to provide an opportunity for you to view our bull pen on-line prior to the sale. We hope this opportunity proves beneficial to you for any decision making associated to your own bull battery for the upcoming breeding season. You are invited to come to the yard at any time prior to the sale to go through the bull pen at you convenience. Coffee is always on and visitors are always welcome. Elder Charolais Farms sell with a 100% satisfaction guarantee! Our ultimate goal is to provide you as producers, return on your investment.

even is many people’s lucky number and this 7th Annual sale could be lucky for you, if you come and purchase a top quality Elder bull. This pen is again very deep in quality with lots of performance, hair and meat in the offering. This operation also runs a high quality commercial operation and keep their biggest birth weight bulls to use on their own cows with virtually no calving problems. They then sell some of the highest performing calves in the Charolais Extravaganza feeder calf sale in Moose Jaw in October. The top of this pen has some exciting new genetics for the purebred producers looking for the next great one and solid proven sire groups that will compliment any commercial operation. The first crop of Elder’s Blackjack calves has not disappointed. This easy fleshing, thick son of the high selling Pastor bull is out of the great Agribition Supreme Champion Female Starstruck 8X. What a pedigree! The Elders have spared no expense, since they started into the business a quarter century ago, in buying the best bulls and females they can to improve the quality of their cowherd and the bulls they sell. This is a video sale at the Elder Charolais Farm with the atmosphere calm and hassle free. The hospitality is always excellent and if you have never been to Coronach, you will be glad you made the drive. If you haven’t used a Charolais bull before, you need to give it a try and see the advantages that crossbreeding will give you. Once again, the Charcross calves were setting the standard for the feeder sales last fall and with the number of producers putting Charolais bulls on their black cows, we are going to see the silver revolution put money in your pocket. Quality and performance will always top the market and starting with the best bull battery you can, will pay you dividends for many years. Sale Manager 306-584-7937 If Candace or I can be of any assistance before the sale or on sale day, Helge By 306-536-4261 please don’t hesitate to give us a call.
