Welcome to this year’s Eastern National Sale
This sale has been a source of high quality breeding stock in Quebec since it was started five years ago. With a year off last year, the quality in this year’s sale is again very high. Bernard has consigned a great set of cattle and asked his consignors from across Canada to do the same. These are females from the heart of the herds and transplant programs. There is something for everyone, from show prospect heifer calves, to proven brood matrons, to some high quality red factor animals. The genetics are from the top of the gene pool from some of the great new and time proven sires in the industry. These cattle will go on and work anywhere. The cattle industry and the Charolais business in particular has never been better with the Charcross calves topping the markets and the Charolais bulls selling the highest ever this past spring. These markets are not going away anytime soon either with the world cow numbers down and demand at an all time high. If you want to improve the quality of your herd or buy your first Charolais, this sale is the place to be. Ces femelles mise en vente sont le cœur des troupeaux et des programmes de transplantation. We bought her mother from Perrot-Martin, Saskatchewan, and she is still in production at home, she works really well. She produced a very good bull as her first calf, which sold to Rene Gauthier. PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer after payment has been made. DELIVERY: Assistance will be given in making delivery after the sale. The purchaser agrees shipping arrangements will be at the convenience of the seller, but will be as soon as practical after the sale, at the buyer’s risk. BREEDER GUARANTEE: As per the the Canadian Charolais Association Code of Ethics. Copies are available at the settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In case where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void. The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after the animal has been sold or for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price. ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale manager, auctioneer, or sellers assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.
