Social Innovation Proposal System-Proposal Process (2/2) Review

Registration Social innovation organizations can register in the social innovation database to open all functions of the proposal system.

Project Management

Audit the identity and content of the proposal unit and confirm whether it conforms to the proposal specifications of this platform

Proposal units should update project progress periodically to the platform, which affects the order of proposals.

Upload the prepared proposal materials one by one according to the instructions of the website and submit them to the platform for review.

Upon approval, the platform will issue an on-shelf notification and provide the password of the proposed maintenance account.

Note to Interdepartmental Participation -Ways and Benefits(1/2) Launch the Transport Delivery Capacity Improvement Trial Plan for areas with insufficient resources for long-term care services to encourage the participation of units

Considering that the development of long-term care transport services is not easy due to the remote location and dispersed population of aboriginal, remote or outlying areas, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has made the Transport Delivery Capacity Improvement Trial Plan. It has also been announced since July 17 that those who wish to invest in long-term transport service providers in remote areas may apply to the county and municipal governments where they are located and report to the Ministry of Health and Welfare before August 15 after the consolidation by the county and municipal governments.

To assist people in areas with insufficient resources for long-term care services to use medical services, receive long-term care services or other life care needs, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, through subsidies, purchases vehicles to encourage units to join the ranks of service providers in 88 Aboriginal areas, outlying islands and remote areas listed in the relevant measures of the Minister of Health and Welfare's Long-term Care Services Resource Development Grant.

According to the type of vehicle, the subsidy amount of the pilot project can be divided into the maximum NT$2.5 million for class B barrier-free buses, the maximum NT$1.5 million for barrier-free minibuses under 9 seats and the maximum NT$950,000 for general minibuses under 9 seats. In addition, service units in these specific areas, in addition to the long-term care of the people in need of delivery services, can also serve other elders in these areas, taking into account the needs of transport services for the general elders, service providers can reasonably charge according to the fee benchmarks approved by the county and municipal governments.

According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, indigenous people, rural areas or outlying islands often face long-term resource development difficulties because of the special geographical and population distribution. Therefore, this pilot project is based on the original purpose of long-term care for transport services, to meet the needs of long-term care for the people who need medical treatment or rehabilitation, but also to improve the accessibility of services for the people of indigenous, rural or offshore areas, and to take into account the operating costs of service providers. It is expected to drive the service capacity of long-term care of resource-deficient areas and create win-win-win benefits.
