Youth Advisory Committee, Executive Yuan In order to strengthen the public participation and communicating mechanisms of the youth as well as provide them with participation channels for the formation of public policies, the Youth Advisory Committee was established on November 1, 2016.

The Committee consists of 30 members. It has one convener, which shall be concurrently held by the Executive Yuan Premier; two deputy conveners; namely, Audrey Tang (Ministers without Portfolio), appointed by the Executive Yuan Premier and Rich Chen, elected by a Youth Representative member; and a chief executive to be held by the Minister of the Ministry of Education. The remaining members include the Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and 25 youth representatives.
