Team Newsletter March 2019
Message from CEO As always, I am incredibly proud of our volunteers and their involvement across the organisation and thank you all for your ongoing loyalty – PCYC Queensland could not operate without your continued contribution and support. Our volunteer numbers continue to increase as you will see in our infographic on the back page. Now at over 3,300 volunteers and growing, more than 500 volunteers have joined our organisation this year alone, which speaks volumes about PCYC Queensland’s ongoing community engagement reach and strong culture. There have been many positive things happening across the state this month, including new Emergency Services Cadets (ESC) locations opening and PCYC embRACE launch, not to mention numerous member achievements and awards. I was also proud to sign a Statement of Commitment with the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women, in our collaborative approach to delivering programs and services to benefit young Queenslanders. I know there are so many more congratulations, staff to welcome and events happening across the organisation – so please share your stories at media@pcyc.org.au.
PCYC Queensland signs Statement of Commitment PCYC Queensland's CEO Phil Schultz and the Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women's Director-General Michael Hogan recently signed a Statement of Commitment together to provide strong outcomes for Queenslanders. The statement reflects the commitment of PCYC Queensland and the Department to work collaboratively to deliver even greater programs and services, to benefit Queenslanders at risk. Our organisations look forward to growing our partnership with you all to achieve wonderful outcomes for young Queenslanders through youth development programs.
