Launched at the height of the pandemic, Activ8 @home is PCYC Queensland’s free online workout and fitness program designed to support people’s health and wellbeing, allowing members to stay connected, fit and healthy at home.

Little n Active

This year we prepare to launch our exclusive new Little n Active Program, which takes a fun and creative approach when introducing children under 5 to physical activity.

Held in a safe and welcoming club space where active parental participation is key, Little n Active classes are designed to promote children’s curiosity, encourage problem solving, increase comprehension and develop social skills.

Catering for different ages and stages, classes build fundamental movement and improve children’s physical literacy, using engaging themed environments.

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics members continue to soar through our Pathways Program including KinderGym, Recreational, Competitive and Gym Sports programs.

As the largest provider of gymnastics in Queensland, our 26 gymnastics clubs encourage gymnasts of all ages and abilities to enjoy the sport through our progressive and non-competitive recreational program, competition level streams, and fun gym sports like FreeG, tumbling, trampolining and Fitter for Life.

Rise Up Be Yourself (RUBY)

Our free physical fitness program for women who have experienced domestic violence, this year RUBY helped more than 130 women across 20 clubs to enjoy fitness and friendship in a safe setting, led by female police officers.

“The impact of the program on the participants is obvious. The changes I see in them even just week to week is amazing. We have people that have come along shy and not feeling confident to talk in front of the group and even just an hour later, at the end of the session, it’s like they are a different person. Our fitness instructor sums it up nicely, she describes it as ‘a safe space for women to exercise and showcase their inner lioness.” – RUBY instructor
